GAMA nano zinc particle has been used extensively in antibacterial field because of its good killing mechanism. Antibacterial nano zinc particles has good capability of ion exchange reduced the possibility of infection in its clinical application. Nano zinc particles is much more heat-stable than other commonly used like zinc ion loaded matrix. And it does not need fluorescence to stimulate the antibacterial effect, while those ceramic antibacterial agents containing TiO2. It seems that GAMA nano zinc particles holds a lot of promises as a substitution for those kinds of commonly used antibacterial agents mentioned above and may find wide application in daily and engineering materials.
